Graduate Data Integration Engineers

My client is looking to hire two 2019 / 2020 Computer Science Graduates that are looking for their first break into the industry. Specifically, we're looking for people who love data/data science and have some experience with databases, coding with an object-orientated language and data analysis.  


This organisation is a US-owned tech business with over 150 UK staff operating out of offices in London and the Midlands. These two very rare opportunities are based remotely and will be for their Data Integrations team.  This organisation is a world leader in data analytics and management information within the education space. They provide school leadership teams, local and central government with incredible insights about the educational performance of students and teaching performance of professionals operating in primary and secondary school education. 


You will cut your teeth on data integration projects, manipulating data and developing data visualisations, before gaining an opportunity to move your career forward into software development, data analysis/data science.  Despite working remotely you'll also be offered the opportunity to work in the office in either London or Leicestershire, post-Covid. You'll work alongside a 'buddy, i.e. a senior Analyst who you will shadow. This ensures you build your knowledge and experience quickly, although it is anticipated that for the first 12 months there will be a relatively steep learning curve, exciting and challenging! 

 

We're expecting a lot of interest in these roles and we have strict criteria to work to, before applying please ensure that you tick the following boxes

 

1. You are eligible to live and work in the UK and can complete a DBS check, which will require you to have at least 4 years of UK residency

2. You have an IT Degree or have completed an IT apprenticeship

3. That you have experience of SQL, can write SQL queries 

4. You have experience of writing code in an Object Orientated language (if you're not sure if the language you code in OO, then you're probably not right for us) 

5. Your happy and prepared to work remotely with some office work post COVID in either London / Leicester

6. You can demonstrate a knowledge of databases 

7. You's be happy of a salary of up to 25k depending on experience.
